At the age of 4, Sidney Ray was drawing barns and other building structures. At age 5, she began painting those structures along with landscapes and by 6th grade her artwork was hanging in the Springfield Art Museum in Springfield, MO. In junior high, she began selling her artwork and in high school was a member of the Art Honor Society. With the combination of her interest in art and her performance in theater, she received a Theater Scholarship to Drury University where she continued her pursuit of the arts until she broke away and began more entrepreneurial ventures that led her to Silicon Valley in 1998.
